Andrea Navedo, an American author and actress. Her career began on the soap operas for daytime viewers like One Life to Live and Guiding Light and in later years had several guest roles on primetime television. Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in The Bronx, New York) is an American actor and a singer. Navedo began her acting career by playing actresses in soaps that aired on daytime television. She starred in the ABC soap drama One Life to Live as Linda Soto from 1995 to 1997. The role was a part of Guiding Light, a CBS soap opera on CBS from 1999 to 2000 as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996, she played a very small part of Girl 6 and then went into the role of New York Undercover. Navedo played as a character in Double Take, an action-comedy film in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the next year. From 2001 to 2004 Navedo was a frequent character in the NBC Crime series Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. The character was later featured as a character in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages, Blue Bloods, and Blue Bloods. Navedo was also in a variety of other films as well, such as El Cantante or Remember Me. Navedo has also played recurring characters in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011-2013) and How to Make It in America Golden Boy. The Comedy film Superfast! The Fast and the Furious Parody, released in the year 2015 was a parody of the Fast and Fast and the Furious film series. Navedo started her acting profession as an actor on daytime dramas. In 1995 through 1997, Navedo played Linda Soto in ABC's One Life to Live. She was cast in Guiding Light, a CBS soap-opera with the character Theresa Sandoval. The actress made her debut in the world of film by appearing of Girl 6 (1996), then went on to guest on New York Undercover and The District.
